WHERE DOES NEXSOM COME FROM?
Nexsom, a principle of synergy
Nexsom is the combination of two strong ideas
NEX: First, there is Nexus, which means a connection, a link, where multiple elements meet. For us, it represents the interaction between water, energy, power, and all stakeholders.
SOM : The other component of the name corresponds to the concept of sum. The union of energies, wills and resources forms a whole greater than the sum of its parts.

ORIGINALLY A DESIRE OF GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT EMPLOYEES
Born out of the determination of some of our Spanish-speaking employees, a working group was set up within Global Development in 2017 to explore opportunities in Latin America, strengthen existing links and develop this market. A number of contracts were won, including technical assistance provided by an expert in Bogotá, Colombia, from 2019.
On the back of this, the desire to bolster our regional presence led to the creation of our Latin American subsidiary in June 2022. And thus, Nexsom was born.
